Samsung introduces its latest addition to its tablet line, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) that serves as the successor to the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab model. Powered by a 1GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab 2 is the company’s first Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0-powered tablet. It comes with a 1024×600 PLS touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel main camera, and a VGA front-facing camera for video chat.
Samsung’s new tablet supporting Full
HD video recording at 30fps. It comes with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of onboard memory
and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 is available in
WiFi-only model and WiFi+3G model. It supports Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n
with support for WiFi Direct and the 3G version adds A-GPS and Glonass. The 3G
model supports HSPA+
21Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 mobile network.
The ICS tablet will be pre-loaded
with a bunch of Samsung apps and tools including TouchWiz UI, Samsung Readers
Hub/ Music Hub/ Game Hub/ Video Hub, Samsung ChatON. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)
will be available in global market from March, starting from UK.
